My name is Dave. I'm the owner and operator of Shower Daddy. I'm a retired former general contractor. I've spent several years doing remodeling work, building houses, commercial buildings and apartment complexes. When I retired it didn't take long until I was bored to death! I needed something to keep me busy (but not too busy) and supplement my retirement income. So in November of 2025, my wife and I launched Shower Daddy. I specialize in converting old fiberglass tub and shower units into beautiful, safe and affordable walk-in showers. It's the perfect business for me. I get to use my skills and attention to details to create a beautiful conversion that takes a homeowners breath away (I love that sound) and at the same time, I get to do something I love while supplementing my retirement income. I charge about half as much as the big companies that do this but I use better materials and I'll do a better job. I believe in treating people fairly and building a good reputation.
